CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE (5 OPENINGS) – JOB ORDER NUMBER –
NY1095235


JOB SUMMARY:

As a Customer Service Representative, you will play a key role in the success of the store through: in-store

sales, telephone sales, direct marketing, new customer growth, and renewal payment processing in the store.

Additionally, our Customer Service Representatives ensure showroom floors are well maintained and

provide a warm, friendly environment for our customers. Job duties include customer care and service,

assist customers on the showroom floor, accept and process current customer payments, input customer

information into the store computer for new lease agreements, update customer information and account

status in the stores computer system, file and maintain customer folders and records, manage cash

transactions with customers, provide administrative assistance, answer incoming telephone calls, maintain

regular mailing campaign, process order forms and references, maintain the appearance and organization of

the customer transaction counter. Additional duties include assist in the maintenance of the showroom

through cleaning, organizing, and merchandising position requirements.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:

A high school diploma is required. Strong organizational and administrative skills are also critical as this

position is responsible for maintaining customer files and processing customer transactions. Excellent

interpersonal skills are required for daily customer contact, strong sales skills, in showroom and on

telephone, maintain professional appearance, computer operations ability, good communication skills,

excellent telephone etiquette, high energy level, and must be able to move merchandise up to 50 lbs. All

Customer Service Representatives complete a drug screen and criminal background investigation. Job

performance and reference check are also required.


HOURS:

This is a full time, regular position, 35 hours per week; work days will vary.


WAGES:

$10.00 – $13.00 per hour.

MANAGER TRAINEE (5 OPENINGS) – JOB ORDER NUMBER – NY1095233


JOB SUMMARY:

The Manager Trainee will collect revenues and protect company assets, act as a customer counselor by

discussing benefits of timely lease agreement renewal payments, contact customers directly who have not

paid their lease agreements, contact customers over the phone and through field visits, maintain and update

customer database, assist with merchandise returns and customer deliveries as needed. Additional duties

include: clean and certify returned merchandise in the Quality Assurance Center, assist in the field where

necessary.


JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Candidates must have good communication and interpersonal relationship skills, strong telephone etiquette,

good organizational skills, maintain a professional appearance, good driving skills with the ability to legally

drive the company truck. Position routinely requires lifting, loading, and transporting heavy merchandise

on a dolly. All Manager Trainees must have a satisfactory MVR driving record, D.O.T. physical,

certification in states that require it, a valid driver’s license and comply with the Aaron’s Driver

Qualification Policy. All Manager Trainees are subject to a drug screen and criminal background

investigation before beginning employment. A job performance reference check and high school diploma

are also required.


HOURS:

This is a full time, regular position, 35 hours per week; work days will vary.

DELIVERY DRIVER (5 OPENINGS) – JOB ORDER NUMBER – NY1095231


JOB SUMMARY:

As a Delivery Driver, you will serve as Aaron’s ambassador, upholding our commitment to excellence by

working directly with our customers in a professional manner while delivering top quality products and

services. You will receive expert training on all the latest model products from electronics to furniture to

appliances. Additional responsibilities include merchandise handling, such as loading, securing, delivering,

set up, troubleshooting and demonstrating. Reviewing lease agreements with the customer is occasionally

required. Ensure all merchandise is clean and in operating condition prior to delivery, load, secure and

protect product in delivery vehicle and safely transport merchandise, ensure delivery schedule is followed,

product installation and education, offload, install and demonstrate merchandise to achieve maximum

customer satisfaction, merchandise returns, service calls and product refurbish, perform routine service

calls, product exchanges and assist with merchandise returns. Clean and certify merchandise in the Quality

Assurance Center for all items personally returned, assist in maintaining the showroom floor and stores

warehouse. Additional duties may include occasional collections assistance and assisting in field marketing

programs.


JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Candidates must have strong technical skills or working knowledge of electronic products, position

routinely requires lifting, loading, and transporting heavy merchandise on a dolly. Maintain professional

appearance, good communication skills, good driving skills and the ability to legally operate the company

truck. All Delivery Drivers must have a satisfactory MVR-driving record, D.O.T. physical, certification in

states that require it, a valid driver’s license and comply with the Aaron’s Driver Qualification Policy. A

drug screening and criminal background investigation with job performance reference check are also

required. A high school diploma is also required.
